Fun with the Fam

We visited Idaho for a couple weeks and it was great seeing family and Landon had a blast with all of his cousins, aunts and uncles, and of course grandparents. Here is a few cute pics of Cassie and Avery and then Paige.

Landon has learned how to give kisses. So here he is sharing the love. So cute!

Got Milk?

Hanging out at Grandpa Hansen's after the memorial service with all the extended family. The swings were one of the most fun things. Everyone loved them from adults to kids.

Jace always knew he should be in aviation, isn't that flight suit hot!?! Hanging out with a few of the cousins.

It wouldn't be a trip to the farm without having a ride on the tractor. Landon was hypnotized by all that was going on while baling hay.

Landon and Ella had fun playing together. They even did ok sharing. They had one little giraffe they would pass back and forth both saying thank you every time. It was really cute. One of Landon't favorite things on the farm was the kittens. He petted them and held them. They were really good with him even letting him hold them upside down. I think his favorite kitty was Sunshine. He also loved Eric's treehouse, he made me climb it 2-3 times a day. Jace was just impressed I could fit through! He also loved feeding the fish every day and Grandma's great breakfasts!

It was fun visiting Ba Shuldberg. Landon had fun playing with the toys, climbing trees, and eating cookies.

Here was the real excitement of the whole trip. Landon loved watching the airplanes and taking off and looking out the window. He was quite the work to handle on the airplane, but he did good. He even napped once.

Sierra and her cousins trying out some creative ways to pull her tooth. Oh the fun of being a 10 year old again.

Aunt Kristin's house is a lot of fun. Landon especially loved the trampoline. Here's some clips of all of us hanging out: Landon wrestling poor Ella down on the trampoline, playing with daddy, and you get to see me about 30 weeks pregnant.

Chillin' at Home

Landon chillin' in his chair and feet on the coffee table. I think boys come preprogrammed that way.

It's always more fun playing in the kiddie pool with all your clothes on. That way you get to wear several different outfits a day.

Landon loves playing outside. The video is kind of long, but it shows him playing several different types of ball and playing on his toys outside. He is such a boy!

Taylorsville Lake

My hot husband, isn't he just great at everything. Or as Oliver would say a "professional" wakeboarder! Look at the air in the second picture.

Cutie pie! He just sat there and stared at his Daddy waterskiing. He definitely liked it and was just chilling. It was funny to watch.

What a beautiful sunset and a gorgeous family. I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful husband and Landon is turning into a great toddler. He's getting so smart and learning more everyday. We had a great trip to Taylorsville Lake and it brought back a lot of good memories of being on the boat with the fam. The only difference is that the lakes here are surrounded by lots of trees and the water is much warmer.

Thanks to our good friend Cory for taking us out in his boat! He was pretty good on that wakeboard and those skis. We're definitely going to have to own a boat someday.

A Week in Our Life

The week started off great we had friends over on Sunday and ate, talked, and played games. On Monday evening we went swimming at a friends heated pool with our friends from Sunday and a few others. But then on Monday night Landon and I had devoloped coughs and congestion. Landon even had a fever. So we stayed in the house and this is how Landon entertained himself. Self marker decoration. I think he looks cute with a blue nose.

Landon has discovered a love of watching cartoons, but he's not just like any toddler. He takes them seriously; look at him studiously taking notes.

Jace got to go waterskiing for our first time in Kentucky last Wednesday with some friends. He loved it and I'm glad he got to go. We are all going to go later today! I'll have to take some pictures and post them.

I'm taking a pottery class and I had my second one on Thursday. It's a lot of fun and just simply relaxing. I actually made a couple of things this time, nothing big and I still have to finish them, but I'm excited to learn. It's fun getting out of the house for a few hours.

Our Saturday morning! I wasn't really asleep unfortunately. Landon woke up at seven and then fell asleep for awhile in our bed and Chewy took Jace's place when he was showering. We do look comfy though, don't we?

Sunday after Landon finished breakfast I told him it was time to get dressed for church. He freaked out, he hates getting his diaper changed. I told him that if he got ready then he could watch cartoons while I got ready for church. Afterward I promptly forgot until Landon brought the remote into the bathroom and gave it to me. Apparently he has a better memory, know what cartoons are, and has discovered the all powerful remote!

Landon has gotten better at talking and all this week has been using please correctly even. At the store he saw a toy semi truck with a hotwheels car and reached for it saying peease, peease! It was cute although hard to not get it for him. He also now can also say juice, sometimes better than others. And with me telling him to say each word he said more juice please, clear as a bell. Most of the time it is a little more indecipherable. I guess he knows the important things! He's very good at saying thank you also! He understands everything though. We had some friends over and they brought their nerf guns and Landon was trying to load the bullet and we told him turn it around. He did and then continued to try to load it!

Remembering and Missing

Remembering and missing Grandpa Hansen. This picture was taken almost a year and a half ago, unfortunately we didn't take any more this last trip home. We are thankful for the time we had with Grandpa, but we constantly wished we were closer to home to spend more time with him and all our family.
