Rocking Out!

We gave into temptation and finally bought Rock Band 2 because we found an awesome deal on it. It's a lot of fun and we all enjoy it. Jace is pretty good on the guitar. I can survive on easy but have no real skills except it is fun.

Landon looks like quite the rocker, doesn't he? He really likes playing on them of course. He likes markers also as you can tell. We sure love our cute little rockstar.

Landon has absolutely loved his bike rides this summer. He can say ride and he will run grab his helmet and beg his daddy for a ride. There is nothing he loves more. It is so cute and gives mommy a nice break!

Sidewalk Art

One of Landon's presents was some sidewalk chalk since he had fun with it at Grandma Shuldbergs. He really gets into it if you can't tell from the chalk everywhere. He thinks it's fun to draw on himself and everything around. Personally I like the pink chalk on the butt. It's been the best couple of dollars I spent. He has really enjoyed it these last couple of months.

Here's my little cutie pie playing with his trains while trying to fill his daddy's big shoes. Landon loves shoes whether his dads, his own, or his mommy's high heels. Look at those big blue eyes. I hope his little brother or sister has them too!

Landon has fun playing in our or our neighbor's yard. Here's some video of him playing, me at 34 weeks, and the second big bruise he has gotten on his forehead in a couple of weeks.

Welcome to Terrible or Terrific Twos

Landon's favorite meal of the day is breakfast so for his birthday I made him a big birthday breakfast. Look at that goose egg it looks even worse because he fell and cut it some more. It was a rough week. Pancakes and bacon yum yum!

He opened his presents all by himself. It was the first time that he really got into it and enjoyed unwrapping them almost as much as playing with the toys.

His Lightning McQueen car, you shake it and it moves. He loves playing with it, but don't all boys like cars that vroom and zoom around?

His fun tractor set from Grandma and Grandpa Shuldberg of course. He always needs some farm toys to remind him of all the fun he had on the farm.

We wanted to get him a remote control car, but this one didn't work that great so it went back to the store and I found the one I originally wanted at a different store. He does like anything with wheels and a remote. In the second picture is the remote control car we kept. It is a little slower, works better, and is more two year old friendly.

So I didn't make a cool cake like I wanted to, but as you can see Landon didn't care. All he knew was that he likes cake and chocolate! He was so cute trying to blow out the candle and after a few tries he did it all by himself. I was showing him how and accidentally kept blowing it out myself. Oops!

Here is Landon opening a few presents and playing with them. This was the first time that he actually opened them all by himself. Maybe because he had partly watched me wrap them and knew he wanted what was inside. He is so smart and cute. He loves to say wow! How we enjoy those happy moments. I guess that why two so far is both terrific and terrible. He is adorable and a good toddler, but he definitely knows what he wants and he can do almost anything to get his way. We'll see how he adjusts to the coming of number two!

The Harder They Fall

We made it out to the lake another day and Landon went tubing for his first time. He had a lot of fun with his Daddy and rode for quite a while. At one point you couldn't see Jace and it looked like Landon had huge feet. Ok, it was funnier in person. It is sure beautiful out on the Kentucky lakes.

Landon had a giant fall yesterday on the pavement. We had just picked the dogs up from the groomers and he was excited to have them home, then crash. He face planted hard and got a huge goose egg. Ow, I've never felt like such a bad mom before.
