Beautiful, white, sandy beaches of Destin FL

   

  We found out that Jace got 3 unexpected days off so we decided to road trip to Destin, FL from July 24-27th.  It was a blast; we had never been there and the beaches were gorgeous.  It was a good thing that there was ocean and pools because it was very humid.  We did however manage to go for a bike ride early one morning and Landon enjoyed it so much that he took a snooze!  We also had fun eating out with friends and there was great shopping!  We loved it so much that we highly recommend Destin to everyone.

Tree Limb

    On July 13th we woke up to find a tree limb fallen from 30 feet up in the tree onto our shed.  Thankfully it was worse than it looked and everything was fine.  The shed even went back together.  Jace got out the chainsaw and went crazy trimming the backyard!  It looks great now, but it sure was a lot of work hauling all those branches away.  It was definately one of those jobs we never would have gotten around to without divine intervention!

4th of July

   For the 4th of July we went to Cincinnati where we met Mindy, Logan, Oliver, and Tulie.  We hunted all over for Cincinnati chili even though we didn't find much and we watched the fireworks over the river.  Landon fell asleep halfway through them however!  The boys played in a frisbee golf tournament and we found the BEST homemade pizza shop ever!  All in all it was a great weekend and it was wonderful spending time with family!
