Perio Graduation Year 2

  Yesterday was perio graduation, thank goodness that means another year down.  This year was exciting because the whole time we kept thinking that will be us next year!  We went to Churchill Downs again and had some fun.  This year Landon was old enough to really watch the horses, of course he liked the trucks driving around the track spraying and smoothing it just as much, but progress is progress.  When we arrived this year everyone thought we was cute, probably because we was just waking up and quiet.  When he got some food in him then came standing up on the highchair and being noisy.  Enough so that the waitress brought us a coloring book and little play horses.  Then we decided to go see the little petting zoo they had.  Landon loved looking at the animals a little petting, but mostly looking.  He would kind of jump when the pig oinked.

Then we tried to get him to ride a adorable little pony, he screamed both times we tried.  Oh well!  We went to the paddock thinking he would love to see the horses up close.  No he cried and screamed and ran away.   Back upstairs for the next hour I chased him around and up and down all the stairs on the balcony where we watch the horses race, but he only cried really hard once when he face planted on the concrete after falling down a stair.  Yes next year it will be better, we will definitely have grandparents there to help take care of the two rugrats!

   Later that night we went out to dinner for the actual graduation ceremony and there Landon met some friends to help cause trouble.  He behaved OK and we made it through.  Jace even received a gift from the graduating class, The Idiot's guide to Fatherhood.  Now we just have to get him to read it.  It was a fun weekend overall and hopefully many of you can come celebrate our graduation next year!

It's a Boy or a Girl!

For those of you who haven't seen me recently or I haven't talked to you in a while here's the update.  I'm 20 weeks pregnant and I had my ultrasound.  I'm due November 3rd; I had thought previously October 30th, but oh well what's a few more days!  With Landon I was still 2 days after the ultrasound date so I better get used to the later date.  We still aren't finding out the sex so Mom and Kristin you'll just have to adapt.  The baby was healthy and everything looked good.  We are excited so here are some cute ultrasound pictures of the newest little Hansen!

Fire trucks!!!

We were sitting in the front yard watering plants when we saw the fire truck go past the house slowly.  Landon waved and then they stopped.  They were taking kids around to gather crusade for children donations and they were letting all the neighborhood kids sit in the fire truck.  Landon got a hat and sat in the fire truck, which he loved.  He took a minute to warm up to it, but then started to enjoy it!

Landon decided he loved the headphones and then put them in the player.  So we turned it on and he listened to it for awhile.  We had a hard time getting it away from him, but don't worry he hasn't really listened to it since.  It was just funny watching him, can't wait until he is a teenager.
