My Little Superman

At Halloween time there is no place more fun than the zoo. So we hit the road early this year for some Halloween festivities. Landon was Superman because he likes to use his blankets as capes, thanks to his dad. He does make an adorable Superman if I do say so myself. We couldn't get Landon to look at the camera when we got to Shrek. He was certainly fascinated by him!

Landon even went on the Superman slide with his daddy!

The little maze for the kids. It was muddy, but Landon had fun running around.

Landon's favorite thing at the zoo? THE CANDY! He soon got the hang of trick or treating and was in candy heaven, since we let him eat the whole time we were in the zoo. Nothing like a little sugar high before bedtime! The zoo was fun and we are looking forward to real trick or treating since Landon is old enough this year to really enjoy it!

Here's just a little extra. Landon had just woken up from his Sunday nap and was a little grumpy so we were watching AFV when kitty clips came on and Landon was busting up and we though it was adorable.

The Big 30!

This year Jace wasn't excited about turning the big 30, but I reminded him a lot of good things are coming this year: a new baby and finally graduation! We got him a little something to help him keep in shape since he is getting OLD!

I wanted to see what 30 candles looked like ablaze. So there you are. Jace thought it would be easy to blow them all out, but it wasn't as easy as he thought. I sure had fun watching him try though.
It's like putting out a small forest fire!

But seriously, despite the teasing, I'm grateful for such a wonderful husband. He works really hard at school, but always makes time to spend with Landon and me. He is a wonderful father and Landon adores playing with his fun loving dad. He has worked a long time to be where we are now and I'm grateful for the bright future for our family. Thanks honey for all your love even through all the pregnancy hormones and painting my toenails when I can't reach them anymore! We love you!

Rocking Out!

We gave into temptation and finally bought Rock Band 2 because we found an awesome deal on it. It's a lot of fun and we all enjoy it. Jace is pretty good on the guitar. I can survive on easy but have no real skills except it is fun.

Landon looks like quite the rocker, doesn't he? He really likes playing on them of course. He likes markers also as you can tell. We sure love our cute little rockstar.

Landon has absolutely loved his bike rides this summer. He can say ride and he will run grab his helmet and beg his daddy for a ride. There is nothing he loves more. It is so cute and gives mommy a nice break!
