Krazy Kent!

Landon and Tulie got along great together. It was pretty fun to watch. Here they are causing mayhem together. Ok, maybe not mayhem in these pictures, look they even took turns. Every horse should be able to ride double!

Sand Angels
We aren't specifying who are the angels!

Bonding moments on the dock!

The boys having fun and throwing the frisbee. First Jace is throwing the frisbee and it's midair and in the second Logan is catching the frisbee with a splash. Aren't our men hot, athletic types?

Oh what fun can be had with dirt, water, and a shovel.

Our little family enjoying the beach. I know, I know I'm getting so big!

The playground there also! What fun sand, surf, and toys every kids dream. We sure had fun at the lake with Mindy and Logan. Landon loves playing with his cousins! It was funny that he was slightly scared of the sand and would only go on it with someone. I guess he didn't remember last summer on the beach.

We had a wonderful time with the Lamprecht gang and we would do it all over again! Thanks for all the wonderful food, being such great hosts, raspberry pie, ice cream runs, picking blueberries in the backyard, helping Jace find those crazy old garbage pail kids cards, and playing frisbee in the backyard even though I'm sure your neighbor wasn't too happy with his house being nailed multiple times! We love you and miss you already. I don't know if we can wait until Thanksgiving, especially Landon.

One Year Wiser? or Just Older!

I am so proud of my cucumber plant, it has kind of overtaken everything.  It grows like a weed.  Here we are holding our first cucumber!  Which we found on my birthday, what a great present.  There are quite a few little ones growing also.

Landon carried the cucumber around for the next hour and you can see his reaction when we cut it up.  We'll have to give him a pet cucumber later when we have more.

So sad, Landon loved his pet cucumber, but daddy loves eating it more.  He loved the garden fresh cucumber.

I have the best husband in the world.  About a week ago we went shopping for my birthday and he let me get what I wanted.  I know it's kind of lame, but I chose to get some more pots and pans.  He had a really long day at school and yet he made time to take me out and bring me home a dozen gorgeous white roses!  I sure love him.

I love strawberry dream cake!  I made sure to make it seeing as I don't have an excuse to make it that often.  So as you see I had a great bday!  Thanks everyone for calling and making my day extra special.  I think I got sung to 5 times, we love and miss all of you!

Loving 3 Day Weekends!

We were so happy to get a well deserved and uncommon 3 day weekend with dad!  Jace was off school on Friday and the weather was nice, not unbearably hot and humid like all of June seemed to be so we decided to go on a hike at Bernheim Forest.  It's a beautiful place with lots of trails.  We went on the canopy tour which has a bridge 75 feet above the ground.  It was pretty amazing.  Jace put Landon in the backpack and he wouldn't get out and walk at all after that.  He even managed to nod off while we did all the hard hiking up and down.
I know, I know, I'm huge and I still have 17+ more weeks to go!  Poor Chewy was exhausted after hiking about 2 miles.

Later that night we went to the Cottons for a bbq.  It was a lot of fun to get together and meet several new families that have moved into our ward.  I'm afraid a lot of our talk was about babies seeing how 4 of us are currently pregnant.  The kids had fun running around and playing on the swing set.  It was amazing that this year Landon is part of the big kids group, they grow up so fast.  Zack had some foam swords that Landon loved to play with as exhibited below.

Jace had fun playing several rounds of croquet.  Who knew that guys even get competitive at croquet.  It was a lot of fun with good food and even better dessert.  Collette's flag cake was delicious as was Sarah's cookies!  Oh desserts, the bane and ultimate delight of my existence.  I'll just blame it on the pregnancy, but for those who really know me and my sweet tooth they know better.  Landon was so tired after that we went home and didn't go to the fireworks.

The next day was the actual fourth of July, but it started off slow with breakfast and Jace mowing the steep incline we call our front lawn.  Then Landon and mommy napped while daddy played some tennis.    Then the rain began and steadily fell all day.  We decided we needed to get out and let Landon run around so we headed to the Science Center.  I'd been thinking about getting a membership there considering that this winter I'll have a newborn and  a rambunctious two year old.  They have an area called the kidzone that only has one entrance and lots of toys to play with.  There is water toys, construction toys, dress up, toys to climb and play around on and even a nursing room.  It'll work great this winter and they even have fun activities for the kids this summer.  Here's Landon playing around  in the water.  He is absolutely focused on what he is doing, I guess you can tell how much he likes the water.
